i agree with young nathan : where is Brain Failure on this mix? and what about "Officer" by Operation Ivy, which is sure to be your new theme song? (Officer - you act like an animal you're outta control / Officer - what the hell is wrong with you)
The songs on there are classic though, did you already make this mix or what and if so when can i get a copy - i need to hear those texas bands
by the way - what's wrong with Sleater-Kinney i heard some of their new album and thought it was pretty good
cons: brain failure is now on it. op ivy is an awesome suggestion. the mix isn't done, do you want it on disc or tape? anybody else want it? i ripped on sleater cos i wanted to rip on jax.
whatever you make it on is cool with me. is there a reason billy bragg is being dissed?
alright, everybody but chicken broth & scandalous haven't spoken up. billy bragg isn't being dissed, the german priests just didn't make me. also, do you guys think tim armstrong is over represented?
i would personally rather see the transplants go before that unplugged rancid track, but whatever is fine.
here are some suggestions for addition...
"police story" black flag
"award tour" tribe called quest
"right wing pigeon" dead milkmen
"fearless vampire killers" bad brains
"die die my darling" misfits
"courage" the minutemen
"cop killer" bodycount
and, since according to chris, "this is your fuggin theme song??", my final suggestion is "i don't want to live this life anymore" by the ramones.
whatever goes on there this should be cool. can i get a copy on cd so i can listen to it in my car?
jx, why dont you want to live yo' life no mo'? i like life now. it's 100 degrees for the fifth straight day and the 33rd straight day without rain. it's awesome. bad brains is a suggestion that im taking seriously, but i think steve earle is out. im gonna try and get these out this week. now it's everybody else's turn to send me music.
Bad Brains definitely should be on there. Why is there nothing out of Boston on this mix? I'm going to e-mail you a Lenny song.
what happened, did you abandon this project? did it ever exist?
not twenty minutse after giving doug shite about this mix, it shows up in the mail, i shit you not. i'm a fan.
